Beyond the arts budget

Every Glamies season runs on real STEM skills — which means many schools use that case to unlock funding beyond the standard arts line.

Light spectrums and color temperature, the chemistry behind special effects, the physiology of stage makeup — the science is already in the show.
Technology
Lighting boards, sound systems, projection and show-control software — students operate the same hardware and tools used in professional venues.

Counterweight rigging, load-bearing set construction, motorized automation — built and tested against real engineering and safety standards.
Mathematics

Sign on for the season (July–July) and get your membership pack.

Orientation
Onboard your directors and set your production calendar.

Train student reviewers
Reviewers learn the rubric and the response framework.

Attend shows
Vetted adjudicators and trained student reviewers attend each production live across the season.

Adjudication windows
Reviewers and adjudicators submit their evaluations during each show’s adjudication window.

Score & respond
Eligible categories are scored; written responses go back to each program.

Finalist selection
Season-long results roll up into finalists and honorees.

The gala

Pricing
Membership starts at $300 per school, per year
A base membership runs July–July, typically due in September/October. Additional fees go to your local program to cover programming and adjudicator mentorship. Tell us about your program below and we'll scope a proposal.
